Sarasota County Emergency Operations Center

Designed in collaboration with ADG, this two-story, 40,000 sq. ft. facility contains the Emergency Operations Center (EOC), Public Safety Communications Center (PSCC) and the Sarasota County Call Center.

In an emergency event, the EOC would serve as the centralized command point within the community for municipal government representatives and supporting agencies. The facility was built to withstand Category 5 hurricane wind with duplicated utilities and communications networks.

The construction is in accordance with U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Green Building Rating System.
